It is during this time of the year that we think about school getting started for the fall semester.  A good education is to be valued and appreciated.  However, let us not neglect spiritual, Biblical, and moral training.  Consider the following scriptures.

"Train up a child in the way he should go.  Even when he is old he will not depart from it."   Proverbs 22:6

"Go ye therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."            Matthew 28:19-20

"...While he was praying in a certain place, after he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, 'Lord, teach us to pray..."     Luke 11:1

"Pray, then, in this way:  Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed by thy name.  Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.  For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.      Matthew 6:9-13

"You, therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.  And the things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also."     2 "Timothy 2:1-2
